The moment you set foot through the
Balinese doors that mark the entrance to this
delightful property, you enter a tropical oasis
of fragrant frangipani trees, fire trees, ponds
shimmering with water tinkling from
terracotta pots and lilies greeting you with a
gentle bow. Soothing gamelan music and
the warm smiles of our staff, on hand with
welcoming drinks and a refreshing towel,
complete your welcome. Within minutes city
life seems leagues away and there is a
wonderful realisation that stress levels have
completely dissipated to be replaced by a
sense of peace and well-being.

The villa entrance doors lead into a large indoor living area perfect for relaxing, reading, entertaining or watching
TV with its deep benches, neoclassical armchairs and Balinese day bed. French windows open onto the outdoor
living area, the heart of the villa, where there is a teak dining table and a circular table ideal for children to play
games on. Benches and planters' chairs allow comfortable seating for guests. From here, steps of natural
palimanan lead into the large, volcanic stone swimming pool overhung with fragrant frangipani and antique
terracotta statues.

Within the main villa are three spacious bedrooms. This makes Villa Frangipani ideal as a family retreat and is one
of the villa’s main selling points. Other villas in Bali are often designed so that every bedroom is a separate building
which many children and parents feel uncomfortable with. The addition of Villa Frangipani’s guest pavilion also
makes it ideal for the extended family to share the holiday or for 2 families to enjoy the villa.

The master bedroom looks out over the enticing pool with cushioned window seating ideal for an afternoon siesta.
A four–poster king size bed is draped in fine netting and a Balinese door leads from the bedroom into a walk-in
closet and through to a stunning private outdoor garden bathroom. The bathroom has a large, sunken terrazzo
tub, double wash basin and toilet all under cover, with a stone shower and water feature set in the garden of the
bathroom.

The second bedroom features original Javanese twin beds and the third bedroom has original 4-poster antique
beds. This bedroom includes an additional day-bed, all beds are draped in fine mosquito netting and their large
windows, dressed with Roman blinds, look out onto the tropical gardens. The guest bathroom is paved in terrazzo
with sunken bath and shower area, wash basin and toilet.
